Personalized in-home and on-campus tutoring options for students in Calgary

And because everyone’s schedule varies widely, we offer in-home tutoring options, on-campus tutoring, sessions at our own tutoring centre and other community locations that fit a student’s routine and/or unique learning style.
Our tutoring options include:
Grade 1 to 12 Students
EducationWise offers one-on-one, in-home tutoring on an as-needed or regular basis for students in grades 1 to 12. We also offer sessions at our tutoring centre that can be one-on-one or in small groups of students of a similar ability, who are studying the same subject material. It is also possible to schedule sessions at a nearby library.
Home-schooled Students
Students who are home-schooled don’t necessarily have school from 9 am to 3 pm as in traditional classroom settings. Classes can take place at any time of day or evening, and often extend into the summer months. EducationWise accommodates the varying study times for home-schooled students either with one-on-one, in-home tutoring, or at our tutoring centre.
In addition, we can help the “teachers” of home-schooled students to understand their child’s learning strengths and weaknesses, so they can ensure effective learning during their education time. We also offer group sessions for home-schooling “teachers” that are directed at sharing successful teaching methods and ensuring a firm grasp of the subject matter being taught.
Post-secondary and Mature Students
At EducationWise, we appreciate that post-secondary and mature students have busy, and often varied, schedules. As a result, we offer these students the possibility of scheduling tutoring appointments as needed or on a regular, weekly basis. These sessions may be held on campus, one-on-one or in small groups. We also offer the flexibility of tutoring sessions at other convenient locations like libraries or community coffee shops.
